Member of Crisis Group Goran Lekovic, who is president of the Association of Rafters “TRIFTAR”, was the first person that, in a unusual way, informed UNESCO of the intention to sink Tara.
Its commitment and continuous struggle for the preservation of Tara, today we are witnessing that the greater part of the Tara River, including its canyon under the UNESCO protection as part of the National Park Durmitor.
